Jul 13, 2010 - How can a movie about a man whose movies were so entertaining be so painfully boring? Solid performance by Downey, but I found the film to be incredibly dull and slow-paced. Perhaps if it were edited down by 30 minutes or so and more homages were made to silent film technique (like the scene where they were hiding the film canisters from the cops), it would have been significantly better. I was disappointed with this one, but then again, most of Attenborough's pictures put me to sleep.
