Description:
In the Winter and early Spring of 1976 Herman still played with Cuby and The Blizzard's but was dreaming of a solocarreer. He formed a group of musicians who lived in Groningen. They played in de Peperstraat and clubs like De Koffer, where this first promotional video was shot by Pietje Video. The line-up was: Herman Brood - vocals, piano, Bernhard Reinke - guitar, Lourens Leeuw - bassguitar and Jan Groenink - drums.
The first important performance of this group, with new drummer Peter Walrecht, was at the Sterrenbos Festival in Groningen, in the summer of 1976. Later, after a love affair with a beautiful blond girl, Herman found a new bandname: "I met a devil with the face of an angel, I lost myself in A Wild Romance".
After Eelco Gelling left to join The Golden Earring for their tour in the US, Herman asked Bernhard to join his new band. Together with bassplayer Lou Leeuw Bernhard was also asked to join the new band of Cuby - singer Harry Muskee. They both choose for de Harry Muskee Band. Herman formed a band with later on Ferdy Karmelk as the guitarplayer.
Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, this video was only recently saved to harddisk.
