Currently all of them have around 10% of their energy needs based on renewables.As we "DRILL BABY DRILL" all those other countries wont give a SHIT about the price of Oil. Sep 18, 2008 - You know Europe makes better use of nuke than we do (and everything else). When they say "Let's use alternatives" they don't backstab and put out legislation to block said alternatives. It's one of the few things I admire about Europolitics. I personally want to see gas at $1.50 a gallon. Why? Because that will mean it's been mostly replaced. But there's a right way and many wrong ways to get there.

It's going to come from entrepreneurs, engineers, and tinkerers, and NASA, just like most of the useful tech we have now !
