And it is sometimes merciful, for one would not want to bring into this world a child that is not wanted or would suffer from birth defects or inadequate care. As for the aborted child's soul (if there is such a thing), I would assume the soul (which is supposedly eternal) would be recycled into another newborn.As for killing animals, I don't even like to prepare the carcasses for consumption. That is why I hire a cook.
