Jul 29, 2009 - I bought this for £3 in the so called Horror section in HMV. it was the only film worthy of being there amongst all the other shit like Shrooms, and The Strangers, The Hills Have Eyes (remake) etc. It shows you how crap the majority of filmmakers are when you have to go back to 1981 to watch a film as great as this with a good combination of story and the right amount of effects in the right places. Long live the new flesh!

Oct 9, 2009 - so wait, who actually won? one guy caught on fire, then the others eyes rolled over like he was havin a seizue. tie?
sMyPANCAKES Says:
Oct 9, 2009 - What happened was the other guy whose eyes exploded transferred his concious into the bald guy and left that bald guy's concious in his own which dies and his lives on... or so says Wikipedia... D:
SinistralEbb Says:
Oct 9, 2009 - They are brothers. The bald guy is the older stronger brother but he lost the fight and died. The younger brother outsmarted him by displacing his older brother's consciousness ...the older brother spent all his resources on destroying the other guy's body, and the guy with the blown-out eyes focus his attention of taking over his opponent's mind. So even though the younger brother was weaker, he won the fight by expending less energy.
ptowndrummr Says:
Oct 9, 2009 - i was saying that they both just kind of lost in their own way. one caught on fire, the other just kind of like had an anyarism.
Deredeo Says:
Oct 31, 2009 - please dont give the any more bright ideas. not one remake has lived up to its original status, and now nightmare is getting the 2.0 treatment also.

Nov 29, 2009 - If you liked this movie you may want to find "Videodrone", another film by Cronenberg and a heck of alot more strange IMO.
Viitos Says:
Genial!
Chandler937 Says:
Jul 1, 2009 - good visuals for such an old movie. that is one fucked up scene. sort of unconclusive from my perspective... maybe if i'd seen the movie i'd understand it better?
