Jan 12, 2010 - @retrobrunettebeauty In the swing community while it is great to dress vintage it definitely isn't required. His wide pants & vest are fine, it's just a different style.

Jan 24, 2010 - swing dancers used to dress the part, until the swing revival in the 90s, since all the new people would dress vintage. Dressing in street clothes meant that you were a good dancer and knew what you were doing. Some competitors dress vintage, but it's not a requirement. plus these guys aren't dancing old school lindy, this is a really modern number, so it wouldn't make sense for them to dress up.
